Arriving in Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat, I was instantly captivated by the blend of ancient history and vibrant culture. After settling into my hotel, I visited the night markets, sampling local delicacies like fish amok.
Day 2: Angkor Wat Sunrise
Waking up at dawn, I joined fellow travelers at Angkor Wat for a breathtaking sunrise. The temple’s intricate carvings and massive stone structures were even more magnificent in the soft morning light. Exploring the surrounding temples, I was particularly moved by Ta Prohm, where nature intertwines with history.
